About the Foundation
The Michigan Chamber Foundation was established in 1985 as a nonpartisan thought leader on public policy issues relating to free enterprise, job creation and business growth in Michigan. The Foundation conducts public information programs and research on key economic issues including taxation, government regulation and efficiency, education, tourism, health care and transportation.
Other programs of the Michigan Chamber Foundation include Leadership Michigan, a nonpartisan leadership training program for future business and community leaders, and the Future Forum & Annual Meeting, an annual conference held to highlight and discuss issues affecting Michigan’s future. The newest foundation program is Great Ideas for Michigan, an online effort to capture innovative and creative ideas from employers and employees across the state to make Michigan a better place to live, work and conduct business.
