Bring jobs to Michigan

I know that Mrs. Granholm have been trying to bring companies to Michigan. As a result, I've seen more and more companies are leaving Michigan. So, her method did not work too well, right? As a small business owner, I am seeing more and more of my clients are leaving Michigan, one-by-one. Reason: they are leaving to find jobs in other states. Anyway, here is an idea for Michigan. Bring the jobs to Michigan. Who cares about GM, Chrysler... We don't need companies. We need JOBS. It's pointless to have GM and Chrysler here in Michigan, and they send their jobs elsewhere, like Mexico... How are we going to bring jobs to Michigan, you asked? Inform other states that we here in Michigan have a lot of manufacturers that are ready to work. How to inform them???

Loan Forgiveness

The state should encourage college graduates to stay in the state after they finish. Building on other ideas, there should be a loan forgiveness program for graduates who remain in the state after they finish. The longer they stay in the state, the higher percentage of their loan is forgiven. There should also be a better articulation agreement between all the schools in the state to improve transfer credits evaluations. Students waste time when Community College credits don't transfer and four-year institutions look down on what they have already done.

Creating Jobs in Michigan

I think we should become the state that the United States Military uses to refurbish and fix our military equipment. We have plenty of factory space, plenty of willing, experinced and unemployed workers that could all benefit from this work. It could be the boost that this economy needs. It would benefit the people, communities and the bottom line of the state. Just an idea......

Taking advantage of Michigan's beautiful outdoors

Michigan has one thing that nobody can deny. NATURAL BEAUTY. Michigan needs to capitalize on this. Instead of closing State Parks, Michigan should be opening many more, buying distressed lakefront property on the Great Lakes and making campgrounds that people will come from all over to camp. Take a page from campgrounds out west, concrete pads, pools, splashpads, etc. Campgrounds in the UP could have hunting specials, trips, etc. Campgrounds in the LP can be the "getaway that isn't far". People want to relax, even it is close to home! I would love to work from a campground, as I have a home office. I have to believe that other would too. These campgrounds could be privately run for the state much like the 407 expressway is run in Canada. It is privately held, but a public way. There are many campers all over Michigan and thousands of acres of state land. Let's make some use of it.

YES BUT A NON STOP RAIL SYSTEM YOU JUST DRIVE ON AND THEN DRIVE OFF TO MAKE YOUR PLACE TO BE AND THE RETURN SAME THING IT JUST GO'S THE WAY HOME! AND THEN ONE FOR TRUCK'S TO A HEAVY MONORALL ! TO ADD TO THIS! SAVE MONEY BY HAVEING IT WORK AND NOT BE AN INCONVENYUNS I'M DISABLED BUT TRYING TO HELP! LOOK AT THIS AND ADD SOME OF MY IDEAS SO I CAN HELP! High Speed Monorail - a new minimal-stop service running the Detroit to Chicago corridor, using the I-94 interstate right-of-way. And as long as we're building new, let's go with a 21st century design. Make it a semi-elevated monorail, very similar to what Walt Disney World has been operating for more than 30 years in Florida. It would be safer than a conventional railroad train, better insulated for our winter, fully electric, and easily able to obtain speeds of 100 - 150 mph.
